Cemetery on the Plains : The old part of the cemetery is located on the east side of Ministerial Rd. north of Cobbetts Pond Rd in Windham, Rockingham County, New Hampshire. David Gregg, the young son of William and Elizabeth (Kyle) Gregg, was the first burial here, before the graveyard was laid out, in 1749. Slate was the most commonly used material and the names of several gravestone manufacturers can be seen here from local communities including Londonderry, Derry, and Lowell.
