In earnest expectancy of a glorious resurrection here rest the mortal remains of Mrs. Salley Williams, late consort of Mr. John Williams of this town. She bade adieu to the cares and pains of this life, and sought an inheritance among the saints in bliss on the 27th of July, 1806. Æt. 24. In remembrance of those amiable moral virtues and Christian graves which are conspicuously adorned her Life and rendered her esteemed and beloved by all This humble monument is erected by her inconsolable husband. Salley Williams baby daughter of the said John & Salley died May 28th 1806 aged 9 months 15 ds. Gustavus I Williams only son of the said John & Salley, died Juin 36th 1806 aged 2 years & 5 mon. Behold dying mortal the bosom friend of a fond husband and the two rising hopes of an indulgent parent called out of existence in the short period of 3 days.
