Oak Hill Cemetery was established in 1842 and is located at State and Parker Streets in Newburyport. The best way to get there is to go up State Street and take a right into the entry drive across from Greenleaf Street. The drive winds past a few homes and behind the mausoleum to the entry gate. In memory of Thomas Patten who died Dec. 6, 1826(?) Aged 81 Also of his son Willis, who died Aug. 8, 1820 (on his passage from Havana to Baltimore) Aged 25. Right Stone: Abigail Relict of Thomas Patten died Sept. 4, 1829 Aged 78. Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord.  Left Stone: In memory of Thomas Patten who died Dec. 6, 1826(?)
