James Pike Rollinsford was once Northeast section of old Dover - 1623 Parish of Summersworth - 1729 Town of Somersworth - 1754 Town of Rollinsford - 1849 May 4, 1730, 20 acres of land was granted for a meeting house - 10 acres for a minister's abode and March 27, 1732 - set aside "2 or 3 acres near ye meeting house to lay common for ye use of ye parish forever"
