The Old South Cemetery aka Boston Street Cemetery aka Trask Cemetery is located on Main Street in Peabody near the Peabody/Salem town line and was established in 1689. At the time this cemetery was established this area was part of Salem Village until 1752 when it became Danvers, then until 1855 when it became Peabody. In Memory of Mr William Pool who in the midt of his uefulnes in his family and ociety departed this Life March 3d 1776 in the 45th Year of his Age. Alo Rebekah his daughter died April 9th 1786 Aged 11 years and 6 months. In Memory of Mr William Pool on of Mr William and Mrs Mary Pool who departed this Life March 30th 1782 Aged 26 years.
