The Old South Cemetery aka Boston Street Cemetery aka Trask Cemetery is located on Main Street in Peabody near the Peabody/Salem town line and was established in 1689. At the time this cemetery was established this area was part of Salem Village until 1752 when it became Danvers, then until 1855 when it became Peabody. In Memory of Mr. Solomon Mackintire who died Oct. 30, 1819 Aged 47 Freed from pain and sickness wich he long endured, with patience to be rewarded for his upright dealings w hile on earth. His death caused many a tear to flow for our loss, but we ho pe his gain.
