The Old South Cemetery aka Boston Street Cemetery aka Trask Cemetery is located on Main Street in Peabody near the Peabody/Salem town line and was established in 1689. At the time this cemetery was established this area was part of Salem Village until 1752 when it became Danvers, then until 1855 when it became Peabody. Sacred to the Memory of Mrs. Jemima Silver wife of Capt William Silver who died Aug. 10, 1817 Aged 56 years In Mrs. Silver were united those amiable dispositions which rendered her valuable in all the relations of life she sustained the religion of Christ appeared to be her support, through a lingering sickness which preceeded her dissolution and which she bore with exemplary patience and submission Also an infant child of Elisha & Hannah Cunnison Rest lovely babe beneath the sod Short was thy stay on earth Thy spirit wing'd its way to GOD Soon as he gave the birth.
