In memory of
Margaret A. Cutter,
daur. of Mr. Thomas &
Mrs. Nancy Cutter
who died
June 18, 1814. Æt. 4 yr. 7m.

Ah! lovely babe no sooner mine,
Then God the gift reclaims,
Mine is the loss, the gain is thine,
Thy bosom knew no stain.

Adieu my sweet and precious babe
I give thee back to God
With flowers I'll deck thy early grave
And kiss my Father's rod.
