The Old Burying Hill (or Old Hill Burying Ground) is found by the Bartlett Mall, in between Auburn Street and Greenleaf Street off of High Street in Newburyport. When this cemetery was established in 1729 the town was still part of Newbury. Newburyport formed a seperate town in 1764. See it's location and get directions at Yahoo Maps. This stone is Erected in the Memory of A Son of the Rev. Thomas & Deborah Cary Born Febr ??th 1788 and died the 25th ??? the ??? ??? Here lies the Body of Margaret Greaves Cary Daughter of the Rev. Thomas Cary and Deborah his Wife died Augst 10th 1785 Aged 9 Months & 15 Days.  This stone is Erected in the Memory of A Son of the Rev.
