Inscription: In Memory of MISS ELISABETH MIGHILL who died Feb. 15th. 1796 Ætat. 22 1/2. (Daughter of Mr. Jeremiah & Mrs Sarah Mighill. And intended Consort of Rev. Humphrey C. Perley of Methuen.) The young the virtuous, fair & wise, Though near pale death will close their eyes, But O their flesh in hope doth rest, Their souls will be forever blest.— From me O friends in this cold urn, Receive advice & cease to mourn, Gird up your loins for death prepare And you in glory shall appear.
